A new rhythm of arrival.
A terminal conceived as a sheltered landscape. Repeating structural canopies and timber-lined roof forms organise the passenger hall, while skylights and a glazed perimeter bring daylight into the circulation spaces.
The proposal takes its cue from trees as structural canopies. Modular roof forms organise the passenger hall and filter daylight through skylights, extending the same architectural language to the arrival frontage. Suhrob worked with Arup throughout the concept design process, from start to finish, focusing on coordination and design communication through architectural concepts, visualisations and presentations.
