Rhythm, shade and a civic entrance.

A façade concept for the Tashkent Presidential Library, exploring a repeated rhythm of slender piers, deep glazing and a shaped canopy. A patterned arched entrance gives the public frontage a clear focal point.

The façade concept develops a modular grid and an interest in the form of the letter Alif. Repeated piers, a deep canopy and a patterned entrance balance civic presence with shade and human scale.
